Education Campaigns

Energy is Development – Education, too!

Energy is a necessary resource for the development of a country and for the improvement of living standards.

The IEA calculated an increase of primary energy demand between 2002 and 2030 of 60%. Depending on how this higher demand will be covered, either by conventional or renewable energy generation, the costs for energy production and costs for environment protection measurements in the frame of fossil fuel usage will shift (http://www.iea.org/statistics/).

Our goal is to sensibilise the public for global problems caused by high energy demand and inform about renewable energy as alternative. We specificially inform about the function, application and maintenance of solar electricity systems in order to enable a long-term usage of solar energy systems especially in countries of the global South.
